On Dec. 1st of 2017 Fairbanks Distilling Company was proud to announce the opening of their new Tasting Room in a converted ex-Fire Engine bay at the downtown Old City Hall Building and home of the distillery.  Members of the Fairbanks Red Hackle Pipe Band were on hand, as well as representatives from the Fairbanks North Star Borough, the City of Fairbanks, and several local Bar owners, as well as the public, for the ribbon cutting ceremony. The Distillery was able to finally show off their copper serving counter and Senator Charles Fairbanks seemed to look on approvingly from his large photo on the serving area back bar as the public returned to this historic public building.
